Full disclosure- Rebekah is my husband's sister, and we weren't hired to photograph her wedding. We weren't even originally going to be able to attend her wedding. Circumstance being what they were, after we helped Sam's parents with the aftermath of the accident in Georgia the week before, we had planned on returning to Indiana, and watching the wedding (in Arlington Texas) unfold via the internet.
God had other plans. In a whirlwind, we ended up being flown to Texas, where we met up with all of Sam's remaining siblings, and finally got to meet John (who is PERFECT for Rebekah, and has the right kind of humor for our family, I'm thrilled to say!) Someone had generously offered to let me borrow a camera, but thankfully, I had my favorite camera with me (my old Pentax K1000 film camera)! Since Sam had tucked his DSLR in his bag when he left Indiana, we were able to capture their wedding.
Rebekah had a heck of a weekend planned- she and John got married on Saturday, Sunday she graduated from UT Arlington with her Master's, and that evening they left to move to Indiana, where John is now attending Purdue in advanced aerospace engineering studies! (These are very smart relatives we have!)
Even though we only met John the day prior to the wedding, it was very clear these two were meant to be! We loved being a part of their wedding, and I hope these photographs will tell you the special beautiful moments they had that day. -Naomi
